NEW YEAR DINNER

The ACO held our annual Chinese New Year dinner & karaoke after a one year hiatus. It was held on Friday, March 6th, 2009, at the Very Fair Seafood Restaurant in Scarborough. One hundred and sixty people participated in this fun event: Dr. Jean Moss of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), Dr. Linda Rapson of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, Dr. Ken Trinh of the McMaster Medical Acupuncture program, and the interim president Professor Qiu Wei Ling of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada were some of the many special guests who attended the dinner. CMCC and the Ontario Chiropractic Association sponsored the dinner and karaoke as well as donating wonderful gifts for our Lucky Draw. Electrotherapeutic Devices, Inc. and Kosim Chiropractic Supplies were also very generous in their gift donations. This year the ACO gave a ‘Qi/Chi/Life Energy’ t-shirt as its gift to every participant.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

The 2009 AGM was held Sunday April 5th at CMCC.
For details see the Members Only page to read the President’s Newsletter.

BACKS IN MOTION

The ACO also sponsored CMCC’s Backs in Motion Run this year as we do every year. Dr. Paul Ho enjoyed representing the ACO by participating in the run itself and helping with the awards ceremony afterwards. He will also be representing the ACO at Backswing 2009 as he tees off at the DiamondBack Golf Club in Markham on September 23rd, 2009.
